The ShipGenius dashboard includes an Inventory Replenishment Report (Inv Reples) in the Reports section and an Inventory Report (Inv Report) in the Inventory section.
While both of these reports have to do with inventory, they serve different purposes.
Before going into the key differences, here are some definitions for terms included in these reports:
Inventory | A company/brand's products that are housed within the Distribution Center (DC) |
Active | Products that are available for purchase |
Available | The number of physical assets that have not yet been reserved for an order |
On Hand | The number of physical assets that are actually at the DC, including those that have been reserved for orders |
Inventory Replenishment Report
Overview of inventory by style, inventory age, estimated weeks of supply left, and some recommendations. The ignore button will hide the line item from the report. This may be used to hide old or inactive items from this report.
Inventory Report
A list of all of the products sold by the store, both active and inactive. The report includes product SKU, UPC, status, location, and availability. It also shows the exact quantity of inventory both available and on hand.
