Sending Inventory to DC - Non-Compliant Shipments

Created by Angela Suh, Modified on Tue, 1 Nov, 2022 at 2:44 PM by Angela Suh

Non-compliant inbounds may result in charges and delays due to the additional time and labor it will take to make the necessary changes for the DC to receive the inventory.

The most common types of non-compliant shipments include:

  • Missing labels to check against the BOL

  • Missing UPCs/SKUs

    • All products must be labeled with a barcode (UPC) that is clearly visible and accessible

  • Mis-packaged products

Value-Added-Services charge

In the case that the DC receives items without the proper labeling and identification (matching the BOL and/or PO), you will be charged a fee of $35 per hour ($67.50 per hour for overtime work) OR a minimum charge of $750. This charge is for the rework of relabeling the item before inbounding it into inventory.
